About Us

This page is about Experimental rocketry and Hybrid propulsion. It is dedicated to our goal to reach 100 K with a hybrid powered vehicle.

2003 Balls Launch Ever year we meet at the Black Rock desert for the annual Balls Launch sponsored by TRIPOLI where we have 100,000 ft wavers and are joined by many other experimental enthusiasts from around the world who share the dream of conquering the 100 K challenge.

Following the success of our 8" Hybrid Vehicle in 2003 we have been working on many improvements including Russ Bruner's Flight Computer. Bill Colburn's will be making many revisions to the original vehicle design.

Due to a fueling system malfunction we lost our vehicle in 2004 but are looking forward to 2005 and have already made the necessary modifications to the fueling system including
remote tank pressure and oxidizer weight monitoring.

We are always looking for talented individuals to participate in our Hybrid development program in the areas of:
  • Designs
  • Equipment
  • Oxidizer
  • Monetary
  • Physical
